such a fun, unique experience. the outdoor patio was a great vibe. The entrance is a little tight and crowded and there was a line when the restaurant opened it at 5:30. The staff was super friendly and helpful and super knowledgeable of the menu. The food was decently portioned as expected for the restaurant, but delicious we licked our plates clean. Definitely worth the price.
One of the best restaurants in Miami. I went there last night with my wife and had an amazing experience. Jake, our server, recommended us to try some pastas and we were pleasantly surprised. What great food that was. Wow. I can't wait to go back.
Amazing restaurant. We had a great time and a great meal. Our server, Jake, was very helpful. We listened to his recommendations and tried the burrata ( boy that was delicious), the pasta and tortellini. Jake even did an amazing job deboning our fish. I wish I could give more than five stars. We will definitely try to come back next time we are in town.
I dined here for my birthday, and it was the best experience. Top-notch customer service, attention to detail, and excellent food! The tableside Caesar salad was incredible, and the wait staff was very kind and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed my first dining experience and will return soon.
Very good restaurant with a lot going for it. First off, it has lovely decor, although the bar area is a little small for the amount of traffic. It's a good space. Second, the service is good with teams of servers and assistant servers. Capable but nothing notable. With $120 entrees, I would expect the head table server to be a tad more professional rather than putting his hands on my table and asking if "I am ready to roll?" WTF? The food is visually appealing and tastes good. The antipasto was delicious -- bowl of marinated califlower, a cheese, salami, and bread . The calamari appetizer was excellent-- light and flavorful. Lobster ravioli entree was similarly excellent. The drinks and wine by the glass were very good. I recommend the Hemingway and the Chianti Classico. The dress code was irritating. Once you make the reservation, you'll get messages reminding you about the dress code. But then when you get there, a lot of folks have t shirts and ball caps. Seems like a double standard and really undermines the vibe. Other than that, typical Miami Beach clientele.
Carbone in Miami is a trendy hotspot that promises a lively dining experience. While I've seen many complaints about wait times and overcrowding, it's important to remember that this is part of the allure of an influencer favorite venue. Personally, I didn't mind the wait, knowing the experience would be worth it. We were only seated 20 minutes after our allotted time slot, and I warmed up with the house bread, cheese, meat, and pickled cauliflower. This assortment was delightful. I also enjoyed a couple of banana daiquiris, which were absolutely fabulous. Our meal began with baked clams prepared three ways, each variation being lovely and distinct. We followed this with a smoky and tender pork appetizer, this was well prepared. The highlight of the night was the beef tortellini, which was silky and rich, easily my favorite dish. The spicy rigatoni was iconic as well, cooked perfectly al dente and bursting with flavor. Carbone offers a dim yet energetic dining atmosphere that lives up to its reputation. I loved this must visit spot in Miami!
Honestly this place is so boujee, it's not terrible. I feel like it's overhyped. The food is good, although I've had more authentic Italian cuisine. I did enjoy the experience, our server was honestly the best part of our whole dining experience. Her name was Cathy, she was smiling since the moment we started dinner. The reason for the 4 stars is truly because of her, if not I would've rated it a 3. We had a reservation for 11:00 pm because it was the only time available. We booked maybe 2 weeks in advance. We got there around 10:30 and had a drink at the bar. The place was slammed, I guess bc it was a Friday night. I had an espresso martini and it was good. We waited until 11:15 pm to get seated even though we had a reservation. The table we were sat at was open for a couple minutes prior, it just took a while to get it wiped down and set up. As we sat down, we were immediately assisted and greeted by Cathy, she kept that same wonderful energy all evening. She came around with the complimentary appetizers, which was 3 different types of bread, salami, cheese and cauliflower. I love that the restaurant does this, it was delicious. We ordered the calamari to start off and it was great, it had a creamy sauce drizzled all over. As an entree I had the lobster ravioli, it was okay. The pasta tasted quite odd like made out of veggies. I didn't love that, and honestly for $52, 5 pieces of ravioli is crazy to me. The spicy rigatoni was a better option imo, the sauce was sweet rather than spicy. But I enjoyed it, my husband didn't really like it because he wanted it to be spicier. Overall, we expected a more romantic dinner together but the vibe was a bit different. It's probably best to come with friends to a restaurant like this or maybe on a weekday when it's less hectic. We enjoyed the lemon cheesecake to go and it was yummy. I do recommend you check it out. The service was great, very attentive!
What a wonderful and beautiful meal. I heard carbone was somewhat overhyped so I was expecting a lot of smoke and mirrors, but the service and food really lived up to its reputation. We started out with the beef carpaccio and it was definitely the best carpaccio I have ever tasted. No lie. The spicy rigatoni and orchetti were both phenomenal, creamy and delish plus the pasta was so pillowy and melt in your mouth perfection. Even the bread basket was over the top delicious. We ended the night with lemon cheesecake and a decadent brownie. I can't wait to dine at Carbone again! Cheers to the chef and staff for making our experience unforgettable.
